From Seattle-Tacoma International Airport to your cruise ship, keep a lookout for Mount Rainier. Ascending 14,410 feet above sea level, it is an active volcano that last erupted a century ago. Rainier is about 80 miles southeast of Seattle. Seward

Most cruise passengers fly into or out of Ted Stevens International Airport in Anchorage. Anchorage is 120 miles from Seward. Depending on whether you travel via train, motor coach, vehicles for hire, or rental car, the trip is between 2.5 to 4 hours.

Whittier

Whittier is 60 miles southeast of Anchorage. The port of Whittier is used by Princess Cruise Line.
Located on the western edge of Prince William Sound, there are many day tours, kayaking, fishing and glacier cruises.


Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel, the longest combined vehicle-railroad tunnel in North America, is the only way in or out of Whittier.
